Terry Hodgkinson's pursuit of excellence started at age twelve when he began training in martial arts. He went on to become a martial arts and meditation instructor, eventually owning multiple schools over fifteen years.
After experiencing the power of the mind through martial arts and meditation, Terry expanded his knowledge and business experience by opening and operating a Positive Changes Life Style Improvement Centre in Toronto, Ontario. He received his master's certification in Psycho-linguistics and hypnotherapy from Dr. Patrick Porter. Terry also trained with Dr. Tad James at Advanced Neuro-Dynamics and with Dr. John Grinder, the co-founder of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. From apprenticing with the Ojibwa Native Indians in healing circles and sweat lodges to studying in over a 100 different temples, ashrams and schools world wide, Terry feels a deep respect for all of his teachers. In 2008, Terry was appointed VP of training for PorterVision, the creators of the ZenFrames™, a creative visualization relaxation system that assists people in realizing their "Personal Achievement Zone".
Terry's entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership abilities have catapulted him to the top of the self-improvement industry. His joy comes from seeing people realize their "True Self" and harness skills and tools that will aid them in their life journey. This has taken him across the globe, both learning from and facilitating seminars, workshops, and retreats.
With the recent publishing of his book "Memoirs of a Wandering Ninja – Walking the Path of Enlightenment" and his guided auditory meditations, Terry has made himself available to a larger number of people on a global scale.
Terry enjoys interacting with people whether it’s through the corporate or public events he holds or working one on one. Personal growth and lifestyle management are the primary objectives of Terry's seminars. However, many of his workshops also promote health and well-being. His unique style and devotion to his clients and students have given him an outstanding reputation. Panther Stillness Meditation - SV
Terry explains in his book "Memoirs of a Wandering Ninja" this ancient wise meditation is called Panther Stillness because the image is like that of a panther, a rather large cat found in jungles, which can be found in the most awkward places, like sitting or laying high up in the branches of trees, while remaining still for hours and being aware of all that happens around. Follow along with Terry in this audio meditation as he helps you learn how to put your mind in a state where it’s easier to cultivate pure awareness. After you practice this meditation for a while you will gain proficiency and soon you will be able to find yourself in any environment or circumstance able to relax.
Most people mistake consciousness with awareness. While there is a certain amount of awareness in being conscious, what you can accomplish with this meditation is a heightened state of conscious awareness. Many people walk around all day simply reacting from the programming (habits and behaviors) and filters of their subconscious mind. It is the purpose of this meditation to help you be more aware and observe these subconscious operations, so that you can know more of how you are operating. Again, how can you make changes if you don't know what to change? Eagle Vision Meditation - SV
With this meditation you will learn to develop the ability to distance yourself from thoughts and situations in your life to gain a different perspective: a "bird's eye view."
The reason it's called Eagle Vision is the eagle flies high above and from such a distance a vantage point is created, as it's now easier to see a fuller more rounded view of the world. When you're too close to something, it often obstructs your objectivity, especially when you're emotionally invested. Being too close and attached will demand the majority of your attention and often energy. When you follow along with Terry in this audio meditation, the Eagle Vision technique will help you gain valuable distance needed, enabling you to foster greater awareness and objectivity, ultimately leading you to unlimited possibilities and opportunities.

This meditation will help you to transform your perception where needed.
It's called Transforming Water meditation because while water can transform from a solid (ice), to a liquid (water) or a gas (water vapor) it is essentially at the molecular level still H2O. It just appears to be different.
Here you will go on a journey where you will discover your perception can help you to understand that every event experienced in your life has only the meaning that you have attributed to it. When we come to the realization that events have no meaning of their own but "just simply are", then we are in a position to assign the meaning that provides the best benefit derived. Practicing this meditation will help you to solidify positive beneficial thoughts, concepts and beliefs.
In this meditation Terry uses the mountain as a symbol of strength and solidity. It's pretty hard to move a mountain, and that's a good image for maintaining empowering states of mind. This is an excellent meditation to practice when you want to have healthy, positive thoughts and feelings in your life.
Terry will take you on a journey where you will first experience a mountain of calmness and serenity. Then you will begin to visualize events in your life where you would want to have a more empowering state of mind. Perhaps you want to be more confident and feel composed, relaxed, optimistic, or enthusiastic. You will begin by visualizing yourself like a mountain, grounded with empowering thoughts and feelings. Carl Jung the famous psychotherapist believed that if there was a person that had any resource or skills, then any other person can tap into that as well if they know how.
